Jobbex’ core business is to match an IT-professional to a company that experiences capacity problems. A good example of the matches that we can realize is the success story of Aires. Aires is a Portuguese software developer who was looking for an inspiring job, preferably abroad. He was ready to broaden his horizons and wanted to build a strong resume, so he applied to a vacancy at Jobbex, a company which is based in both the Netherlands and Portugal.

Jobbex finds you a perfect match

The Jobbex team set to work for Aires and found an interesting position for him in the database of vacancies. A large financial institute in Amsterdam was looking for a Junior Java Developer. The profiles were matched and Aires turned out to meet the criteria set by the bank.

Jobbex organized an introductory meeting between the two and not much later, the nearshore secondment was a fact. Jobbex arranged a place to stay for Aires and also took care of all other HR aspects. Our client was thoroughly assisted in this process; their capacity problem was quickly resolved and the bank could rest assured that all aspects of the secondment were in good hands with Jobbex.

A true success story for Aires

Aires developed at lightning speed, partly because he could fully focus on his work and did not have to worry about matters such as housing and insurance. Aires delivered on his promises and the bank rewarded his efforts, progress and achievements with a permanent contract after two years. On the one hand, this is of course less pleasant for Jobbex because a valued colleague has left, but it proves that Aires and our client were the perfect match.

Both our client and Aires were enthusiastic about Jobbex' role in this secondment. Apart from realizing the right match, the involvement and communication were also appreciated. For Aires, it felt like joining a team he had already worked with for years.
